Resolve - requesting the opinion of the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court, laid on the table by Mr True of Poland, was read & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - concerning Sheriffs fees, laid on the table by Mr Jewett of Bowdoinham, was assigned for consideration on Tuesday next at ten oclock

Bill - regulating the taking of Lobsters, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - to establish the Oldtown Canal, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as in new draft. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - prohibiting the practice of treating at elections, was read a second time, amended and assigned for a third reading on Monday next at ten oclock.

Bill - additional for the relief of Poor Debtors, came from the Senate referred to the Committee on the Judiciary for concurrence and the House concurred.

Resolve granting compensation to Josiah Towle, was read once and Monday next at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - to divide the town of Edgecomb and incorporate that part thereof known by the name of Jeremy Squam Island, as a town by the name of Westport - - additional act to establish the Cumberland and Oxford Canal Corporation - which were severally passed to be enacted.
