Bill - authorizing the inhabitants of the South School District, in Eastport to borrow any sum of money not exceeding five thousand dollars, for the purpose, of erecting the necessary buildings, for Schools of Mutual instruction in said School District, reported by the committee on the petition of Frederic Hobbs & als, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Resolve in favor of Oldtown Bridge Corporation was read once & referred to Messrs Hutchinson of Hartford, Bennock of Orono, Hazeltine of Searsmont, Webb of Windham, Usher of Hollis, Smalley of St George, White of Monmouth Wines of Deer Isle, Foster of Machias & Pierce of Moscow. Immediately on motion the House reconsidered their vote referring this Bill to the foregoing committee, and referred the Bill to the next Legislature - Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Central Bank, was read once and Thursday next at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

Bill - additional act concerning foreign attachment, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve granting compensation to Josiah Towle, was called up and recommitted.

On motion of Mr Bennock of Orono, Ordered that Messrs Bennock of Orono, Wentworth of Lebanon & Bradford of Friendship, be a committee with
