Bill - to incorporate the Methodist Meeting House Corporation came from the Senate & on motion was referred without reading to Messrs Cobb of Durham, Smart of Prospect & Bennock of Orono.

Bill - concerning Sheriffs fees, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Bill - in addition to the several acts defining the general powers & duties of Manufacturing Corporations, was read 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - regulating the taking of Lobsters - - to establish an Institution for female Education - - additional act concerning foreign attachment - - to establish the Stillwater Canal Corporation - which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - additional act defining the powers of the Judicial Courts in granting reviews & for other purposes - was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - prohibiting public treats in days of Election, reported in a second new draft, which was adopted, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as in the second new draft. Sent for concurrence.

Bill - additional to the several acts now in force respecting Highways - was read once & thursday next at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

The House resumed the consideration of the Bill - respecting the attachment of real estate - The question of Indefinite postponement was put, and decided in the negative. The House then reconsidered their vote of yesterday adopting
