Remonstrance of Seba French & als against the petition of sundry persons to be incorporated as a Christian School, was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Parishes &c Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered That the committee on Fisheries be instructed to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law respecting the taking of Salmon as to allow the owners of nets at the mouth of Kennebec River longer, for using them than the law now allows - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - establishing the line between Jefferson and the towns of Washington, Waldoboro', New Castle and Alna was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve in favor of Joshua Carpenter, came from the Senate indefinitely postponed for concurrence - and the House concurred.
