Bill - to incorporate the Mosaic Lodge was read a 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Report of the Committee to inquire into the expediency of exempting by law the noncommissioned Officers & privates who actually perform Military duty from paying a poll tax for the support of Government, that legislation on that subject is unnecessary came from the Senate accepted for concurrence, and the House concurred.

The House resumed the consideration of the report of the committee on the subject of the Northeastern boundary, and after some discussion thereon Mr Jewett of Scarboro' moved the previous question. and the motion prevailed - The maine [main] question was then put in the following words "Shall the report of the Committee be accepted" and this question was decided by yeas & nays unanimously in the affirmative as follows - yeas 126 nays (none). [See appendix page 290.] The House then on motion, so far reconsidered their former votes as to adopt several amendments to this report as contained on slip annexed.

Resolve relating to the Northeastern Boundary, was read and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to incorporate the Female Orphan Asylum of Portland, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked H. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to divide the town of Bristol and incorporate the town of Bremen, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked A. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to incorporate the Abyssinian Society was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.
