Petition of Jacob Prince & accompanying papers, taken from the last years files of the Senate came down referred to the committee on the Militia & Military Affairs for concurrence and the House concurred.

Petitions of J. R. Chadbourne for redress for depredations committed by the Passamaquoddy Indians on his lands - - of John Judkins & als for a law providing for Houses of Correction - - of the Inh. of Portland for authority to appoint certain additional town Officers - - of the Sectmen [Selectmen] of Portland for an alteration in the law respecting Drains - were severally read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

Petitions of the town of Hartland for a small tract of land in St Albans to be annexed to said Hartland - of Ira Fish & als to incorporate townships No one & three & a half township lying between them as a town by the name of Lima - also Remonstrances of the town of Starks agst the petition of Joshua Young & als - - of Hartland against the petition of Thomas Dorman & al, were severally read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of John Drummond & als for authority to construct a free Bridge across Sebasticook river - - of James B Fiske & als to be incorporated as the Bangor Pier Corporation - were severally read & referred to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.
