Bill - additional to prevent the destruction of fish in Denny's River and Pinmaquan, was read once and ordered to lie on the table.

Petition of Andrew McMillan & als, inhabitants of Fryeburg for an alteration of the law regulating the disposition & management of Ministerial Lands, was read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of Joseph Keith & als, Selectmen of Chesterville praying that the boundary line between said town and Farmington may be established & defined, was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Joshua Swett & als owners of land through which the Cumberland & Oxford Canal passes, praying to be relieved, was read & referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of the town of Greenwood, was read once and refused a second reading in concurrence with the Senate.

Ordered, That Messrs Morse of Wilton, McCobb of Phipsburg & Abbot of Fryeburg addition be a committee such as the Senate may join to consider the expediency of affording aid to the town of Greenwood & such other towns & plantations as are oppressed by excessive Highway taxes - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
