Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr Adams of Portland Ordered, That the committee on Finance be directed to consider and report what sum it is expedient to raise by a tax on Polls & estates for the support of Government the present year - read & passed.

Bill - repealing part of an Act to incorporate Anson Academy & reviving the residue, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Reports of last Legislature on petitions of Amos Hill & al - - of Town of Albion - came down referred in Senate to the committee on incorporation of towns for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Reports on the petitions of Joshua Dunn & als - of David H Patterson & als granting Orders of notice, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Reports on the petitions of Adam Weed - of William Tozier - granting leave to withdraw, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Reports on the petition of Joseph Whitten & als, referring the same to the next Legislature, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurrence.
