On motion of Mr Kidder of Milburne, Ordered, That the Committee on the Militia and Military Affairs, be instructed to inquire into the expediency of repealing so much of the Militia law as requires the exhibition of ball cartridges by non commissioned Officers and privates at the annual inspection - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on Bills in the third, reading reported as duly engrossed Bill - in further addition to the several acts now in force to organize govern, and discipline the Militia of this State - - to incorporate the Proprietors of Dead River Bridge - - to set off Washington Remick from Kittery to Eliot to repeal a former act for the same purpose - which were severally passed to be enacted.
