Bill - to incorporate the Gardiner Mutual Fire Insurance Company, was read 1st & 2nd time & Thursday next at ten o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Resolve in favor of Jacob Prince, was read a second time amended at B, and then on motion indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed, Resolve - in favor of Jonah Dunn which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for the benefit of Maine Wesleyan Seminary, was read a second time, but before the question of passing the same to be engrossed was taken, the House,

The House resumed the consideration of the Resolve for the benefit of the Maine Wesleyan Seminary, amended the same at A and then refused the Resolve a passage to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on the petition of James Means & als, granting leave to withdraw, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence and the House on motion referred the same to Messrs Bishop of Westbrook, Ruggles of Thomaston and Pond of Bucksport.
