The Committee to whom was referred on the 4th inst. the Report on the petition of Nathaniel Malborne and accompanying papers, reported that the House ought to adhere to their vote of 31st ult, nonconcurring the Senate in accepting said Report - and on motion of Mr McCobb of Phipsburg, the whole subject was indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

Mr Williams of Augusta, has leave of absence after today the remainder of the session.

Mr Goodwin of Dresden has leave of absence after Saturday next during the remainder of the session.

Bill - additional to the several Acts now in force securing to owners their property in Logs, Masts, Spars & other timber was on motion referred to Messrs Storer of Carthage, Clark of Hallowell, & Herrick of Lewiston.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve - An additional Resolve for providing Public Building for the use of the State - - for the benefit of Maine Wesleyan Seminary - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Bill - to establish the Kennebec Ferry Company - -to enable persons to incorporate themselves themselves as a body politic, for the purpose of purchasing land for burying ground - - to incorporate the Kennebec Mutual Fire Insurance Company - - regulating the sale of Salt- -an additional act incorporate the Proprietors of Kittery Point Bridge - an additional act respecting Banks - - to authorize towns in the County of Kennebec to associate together to build an almshouse for the support of their poor - to set off part of Mariaville plantation & annex the same to plantation No fourteen which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
