Report on petition of Joseph Hutchinson & als & accompanying papers, came down referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Report on sundry petitions respecting the inspection of Lime, that legislation on the subject is inexpedient, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - to cede to the United States the jurisdiction of a certain tract of land in the town of Castine, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d Reading.

Mr Adams of Cherryfield has leave of absence after Monday next during the remainder of the session.

Bill - in addition to the several acts for the regulation of Inholders, Retailers & Common Victuallers, reported with amendments which were adopted, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as thus amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - limiting the tenure of office of the Adjutant General was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to incorporate the Maine Congregational Charitable Society, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Limerick Academy, was read a second time & passage refused. Sent up for concurrence.
