Met according to adjournment.

Ordered, That the committee on State Lands be instructed to inquire what compensation is due to James Irish, for his services & expenditures as Land Agent, from the time when he was last paid until he resigned his office &c - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report of the committee on State Lands to whom was referred an order of 16th inst. directing said Committee to consider the propriety of authorizing the Land Agent to purchase all the land belonging to Bowdoin College & other Literary Institutions, that it is inexpedient to make such purchase - was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report of the Judiciary Committee, on the order of the 14th of February directing them to inquire into the expediency of amending the law in relation to illegitimate children, that it is inexpedient to amend said law, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report of the committee on the Judiciary to whom was referred an order of the 14th inst instructing said Committee to inquire into the expediency of amending an act making further provision for legal process &c, that legislation is inexpedient on the subject, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report of the committee on the Judiciary to whom was referred an order of Feby 17th directing them to inquire into the expediency of making further provision by law for the support of paupers residing without the limits of incorporated towns & plantations, that legislation on the subject is inexpedient
