Met according to adjournment

Bill - additional act to exempt certain goods & chattels from attachment, execution & distress, was read a third time and referred to Messrs White of Monmouth, Briant of Fairfield & Miller of Waldoborough.

Bill - changing the names of certain persons, was read 1st & 2d time & Monday at 10 oc lock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve - relative to imprisonment for debt, was read once & referred to the next Legislature in concurrence with the Senate.

A communication was received from Levi Hubbard Counsellor elect, signifying his acceptance.

A message was received from the Senate by Mr Huchsinson [Hutchinson] their Secretary, Proposing a Convention forthwith in the Representatives Chamber for the purpose of qualifying Levi Hubbard, Counsellor elect - and the House concurred &, the Clerk notified the Senate thereof.

Agreeably to assignment, the two Houses assembled in convention when Levi Hubbard, Counsellor elect came in & took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him to enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office - and the convention seperated. [separated] -

Bill - to authorize the town of Falmouth to erect a toll Bridge across Presumpscot River, was read 1st & 2d time & postponed indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.
