[Resolve additional for clearing road from township No.2 passed] Resolve additional for opening and clearing a Road from the South line of township No.2 Old Indian purchase on the East side of Penobscot River to Mattanawcook stream was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. concurred.

[Order for altering the law concerning Parishes] Order of the House that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of altering the Law concerning Parishes to report by Bill or otherwise was read and passed in concurrence.

[communication from David Crowell Counsellor elect] A communication from David Crowell, Counsellor elect signifying his acceptance was received, read and sent down.

[Order of notice on pet: Selectmen of Alna & of Saml. Moore & als.] Mr. Hill from the Committee on Interior Fisheries reported an order of Notice on the petition of Selectmen of Alna and of Samuel Moore & als. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

[Resolve in favor of Old town Bridge Corporation passed] Mr. Cushman from the Committee reported a Resolve in favor of Old town Bridge Corporation . Read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed as amended, Sent down for concurrence.

[Ordered that the Secy. of State notify the Governor of the election of Peleg Sprague a U.S. Senator &c] On motion by Mr. Cushman, Ordered that the Secretary of State be directed to notify the Governor that the Legislature on the 16th instant by a concurrent vote of the Senate and House of Representatives elected Peleg Sprague of Hallowell in the County of Kennebec a Senator to represent this State in the Congress of the United State for six years from and after the third day of March next and that the Governor be requested to furnish him
