[Pet. Sam Chesley referred over] Mr. Usher from the Committee on Turnpikes &c reported a reference to the next Legislature on the petition of Samuel Chesley and others and [leave to withdraw on Pet. Rufus Sewall] leave to withdraw on the petition of Rufus Sewall and others. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

[Report respecting Printing] Report of the Committee appointed to contract with some person to do the printing for the state and order therewith came from the House accepted for concurrence was ordered to lie on the table and 300 copies ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.

[Report Legislation inexpedient] Mr. Parsons from the Committee on State Lands on order of February 8th to take into consideration the lands belonging to the Passamaquoddy Indians, reported that legislation is inexpedient. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

[Bill passed to be engrossed] Mr. Witham from the Committee on Interior Fisheries reported Bill to prevent the destruction of Fish in Sebasticook River without amendment and the Senate again pass this Bill to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[Resolve in favor of the late Warden of State Prison] Mr. Phelps from the Committee on the State Prison &c to whom was referred a letter from Daniel Rose's Account from December 1st 1827 to August 31st 1828 reported Resolve making an appropriation for the late Warden of the State Prison and for other purposes and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 oClock assigned for a 2nd Reading.

[Resolve to prevent depredations on the Public lands] Mr. Parsons from the Committee on that part of the Governor's message relating to the North Eastern Boundary to whom was referred the Engrossed Resolve to prevent depredation on the public Land reported the same in new draft and the same was read and recommitted to the same committee s.d.f.c.
