Met according to adjournment.

Report of the joint Committee appointed to examine the returns of votes given for Governor &c, came from the Senate with a proposition for amendments as on sheet amended marked A, and acceptance of the report refused, for concurrence - On motion of Mr Boutelle of Waterville, the House assigned tomorrow at ten oclock to consider the same.

On motion of Mr Hamlin of Columbia Ordered That when the House adjourns, it adjourn to meet tomorrow morning - read & passed.

Petitions of John Grindle & others to be sett off from Sedgewick to Bluehill - of Joseph Hacker of Palermo to be annexed to China - - of Ephraim Quinn & als of Hermon to be annexed to Hampden - - of Andrew Gray & als of Sedgewick to be annexed to Penobscot - - of George Lermond & als of Hope to be annexed to Union - - of a Committee of Frankfort for a division of said Town -

Remonstrance of Daniel Morgan Junr & als agst the petition of Andrew {Gray & als - & of John Grindle & als - were severally read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Samuel Wheeler & als for an alteration in the terms of the C.C.P. Washington County - - of Daniel Merrill for a law to define the duty of Ministers who have commissions {authorizing them to solemnize marriage as to taking an oath of qualification - - of Ira Blanchard & al for a law making Toll Bridges free for Military companies &c - - of David Thurlo & als of Crotch Island that their school money may {be expended on said Island & - were severally read & referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
