Wednesday February 3d 1830.

Met according to adjournment.

The committee of this House on contested Elections, to whom was referred the Memorial of Andrew Roberts, claiming a right to sit & vote as a member of this House from the Town of Waterboro' and to whom was also referred the Remonstrance of William Thing & als against the election of said Roberts, made a detailed report, by which it appears, that said Roberts is not entitled to a seat as a member of the House - The Minority of the Committee aforesaid reported a statement of facts as they appeared to them, and that said Andrew Roberts is entitled to a seat as a members of the House - Thereupon Mr Swan of Portland moved the following Order, "The Committee on Contested elections having made a Report on the case of Andrew Roberts claiming to have a right to a seat in this House, and the minority of said Committee having also made a written statement of their views in the case of said Roberts. Ordered That Five hundred copies of the Report of said Committee be printed for the use of the members - and that the statement of the minority be also printed - read & passed.

Adjourned until afternoon.

Afternoon - Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr Rideout of Cumberland Ordered, That all documents printed by order of the House for the use of the members, shall be distributed by the Clerk of this House or such person or persons as he shall appoint, equally among such members; and that such documents shall be distributed to the Members only, while occupying their respective seats. read & passed.
