On motion of Mr Kent of Bangor, Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of authorizing in certain cases under the order of two Justices of the Peace and Quorum, the removal of prisoners for a limited time from the Jail in the County of Penobscot to the Jail in the County of Waldo at the expense of said County of Penobscot, and with the consent of the Court of Sessions of the County of Waldo - read & passed. Sent up concurrence.

Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Bremen & report thereon taken from the last years files of the Senate & sent down, was read & referred to the Committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.
