On Claims[underlined]. Messrs Smith of Newfield Morse of Wilton Nevers of Sweden

and the Committees aforesaid were notified to the Senate, and the Senate was requested to join them on their part.

Mr Bradbury of Hollis moved the following Preamble & Order, Whereas there does not appear to be any probability of the Legislature being able to do anything at this session which shall afford to the people any justification for incurring the expense of a protracted session, and it not being probable that the public good any longer require the continuance in session of the two houses, Therefore, Ordered, That the Senate to requested to concur with the House in a proposition to adjourn without day on motion of Mr Smith of Newfield, Ordered, That the further consideration of the foregoing Preamble & Order be postponed until the first Monday of March next.
