Petitions of Kilborne G Robinson & als for authority to establish a Horse Ferry {across the Kennebec River, at Hallowell - of the Directors of Lewiston Bridge for a law to restrain persons from {travelling with horses faster than a walk across said Bridge which were severally read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Rufus K Page & others for a division of the town of Hallowell and the incorporation of all that part of it lying West of Kennebec River into a new town by the name of Hallowell Port - read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of the Trustees of the Methodist Society in Portland for an enlargement of their Board, was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Parishes. Sent up for concurrence
