Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr. Sweat of Prospect, Ordered, That the committee on Interior Fisheries be instructed to enquire into the expediency of so altering the Fish law in relation to Penobscot Bay & River, so that fish may be taken five days in each week. Read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Norton of Canaan, Ordered, That the Governor be requested to communicate to this House the report of the proceedings of Joel Whitney & others under the Commission to establish the Canada Road - read & passed. Sent up.

On motion of Mr. Burnham of Orland, Ordered, That Messrs Burnham of Orland, Charles of Fryeburg & Smith of Litchfield be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of passing a law to prevent the killing of Moose and Deer, except at certain seasons of the year; with leave to report & - read & passed.

On motion of Mr. Mitchell of North Yarmouth, Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the propriety of exempting from attachment, to a certain amount, the life right of a husband in his wife's real estate - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Small of Jay, Ordered, That the Senate be requested to take from their files of last year, the petition of Manasseh Lawrence & als & send it down to this House - read & passed. Sent up.
