Reports on the petition of Thomas H. Norcross & of ---Sylvanus Burnham granting leave to withdraw, were read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

The Secretary of State came in & laid upon the Speakers table a written message from the Governor as follows, "Executive Department Portland February 19, 1830 To the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sir, A copy of the Report of the Agents appointed to open the the Canada Road is herewith transmitted in compliance with the request of the House of Representatives of the 18th instant. Jonathan G. Hunton"

The Message and accompanying report was read & 300 copies of said report to be printed for the use of the members, and the subject matter thereof referred to the committee on so much of the Governors message as Relates to the Canada Road. Sent up for concurrence.
