On motion of Mr White of Monmouth, Ordered, that the Committee on the Judiciary, be instructed to enquire into the expediency of repealing an act making further provision concerning records of Justices of the Peace &c read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Smith of Newfield Ordered, That the Senate be requested to take from their files, the papers relating to the division of the Town of Shapleigh which were presented to the last Legislature; & transmit the same to this House - read & passed. Sent up.
