On motion of Mr Smith of Nobleboro, Ordered, That Messrs Smith of Nobleboro, Boutelle of Waterville & Adams of Portland be a committee to enquire into the expediency of granting a donation of lands for the support of the Freebridges in the towns of Saco and Biddeford that cross the Saco River on the Maine mail route, to wit the bridge on the Saco side below the falls and on the Biddeford side below the ripplings - read & passed
