On motion of Mr. Shaw of Wiscasset, Ordered, That two hundred copies of the documents accompanying the Governors message, relating to the Road from Baring to Houlton", be printed for the use of the members of the Legislature - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill an act additional to an act defining the general powers & duties & regulating the office of Sheriffs & Constables, was read a third time & referred to Messrs. Hamlin, of Columbia, Ruggles of Thomaston & White of Monmouth.

Report on the orders of the 4th & 5th inst. directing them to enquire into the expediency of amending the law relating to highways &c that legislation is inexpedient, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.
