Bill in addition to an act to establish the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Corporation, reported by the committee on bills in the third reading was called up, and the vote of the 22nd inst. passing the same to be engrossed reconsidered - Mr. Smith of Nobleboro then moved an amendment - and then on motion the Bill & proposed amendment was referred to Messrs. Adams of Portland, Smith of Nobleboro and Boutelle of Waterville with instructions to report at 12 o'clock tomorrow.
