198 Bill to regulate the taking of Fish in Tunk River was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to ascertain the amount and description of estates, and of certain description of Persons within this State, was read a 3d time & referred to Messrs. Smith of Nobleboro, Kent of Bangor & Hamlin of Columbia.

Bill - an additional act respecting Salaries of Judges and Registers of Probate, was referred to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - additional act to incorporate the Trustees of the Methodist Society in Portland, which passed to be enacted in this House came from the Senate amended for concurrence, and the House concurred.

Resolve in favor of the town of Saco & Biddeford, was passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet marked A. The question was taken by yeas & nays & decided in the affirmative as follows - yeas 58 Nays 56. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on the petition of Nathaniel Treat & al referring the same to the next Legislature, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of Jacob O. Rogers, was reported with an amendment which was adopted & then indefinitely postponed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill requiring notice to be given in cases of contested elections reported in a new draft which was adopted, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
