Messrs Gilman of Wells & Spinney of Elliot have leave of absence after this day.

Resolve providing compensation to the Chaplains, of the Legislature laid on the table by Mr Scamman of Pittston, was read once & referred to Messrs Scamman of Pittston, Knowlton of Montville & Morse of Wilton.

An additional Resolve appointing Commissioners to settle with certain Land Agents, came from the Senate passed to be engrossed in a new draft for concurrence - The House agreeably to the recommendation of the Conferees on the part of the House, so far recede from their former vote as to pass this Resolve to be engrossed as in this new draft in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of the Maine Wesleyan Seminary came from the Senate that body having accepted the report of the conferees on their part recommending them to adhere to their vote passing the same to be engrossed - The House accept their report of their conferees recommending an adherence to their vote refusing the same a passage

Resolve providing for a Gun House in Eastport, laid on the table by Mr Folsom of Eastport, was read & referred to the next Legislature

An additional Act respecting the Gardiner Lyceum, came from the Senate passed to be engrossed as amended on Sheet A. The House so far recede as to pass the Resolve to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate agreeably to the recommenda
