Dear Sir

The undersigned being one of the many invalid soldiers sent from Yorktown would request a descriptive list from the Adjt General. During to the great haste in which the soldiers left, the required list could not be obtained but was informed by the Col. that if such a list should fail to appear within a few days after reaching home- one could be obtained from the State. General- under these circumstances you are consulted- Yours Respectfully
