Permit me to address you on a subject which I think will be if carried out an adv- antage to the army. My brother in law John L. Lovejoy was here yesterday from East Corinth to get me to write you asking it as a great favor to let his Son Charles L. Lovejoy of Co. A. Second Regt. come home and recruit for the 16th Regt.
