Died, at Halls Hill Va Feb 27, 1862 Corporal Harlen P. Atherton of Company I, 2d Maine Vols.
Said Atherton was enlisted by S. B. Fields at Ellsworth Nov 22nd and was last paid by Maj. Jabez True to include Dec. 31, 1862 and has pay due him from that date to be the time of his death Feby 27.
he was 23 years of age 6 ft High. Complexion Light Eyes Blue. Hair Brown. Occupation when enlisted a Farmer. Annexed you will find his Clothing [?]
