125 Monday January 30.1832 Met according to adjournment

The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed - Resolve admitting Seth May to practice as an Attorney at Law, which was finally passed - sent up for concurrence.

On Motion of Mr. Shapleigh Ordered that the Joint Standing Committee on Literary Institutions be instructed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the Trustees of the Ministerial fund in the North Parish in the town of Berwick to appropriate the interest of said fund annually for the benefit of primary Schools, and report by bill or otherwise, sent up for concurrence.

A Communication was received from the Clerk of the Courts in Penobscot County, which was read and referred to the Select Committee of this House who have subject under consideration.

On motion of Mr Shapleigh Ordered the Senate be requested to take from their files a Bill reported by a Committee of the last Legislature, respecting Inholders retailers etc. and send the same to this House.

An Order came from the Senate for concurrence, directing that Messrs. Bridgham & Sweat be a Committee with such as the House may join to take into consideration the expediency of providing by law for a general vaccination of the people of this State, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - and the House concurred and Messrs Ingalls of Bridgton, Perry and Gordon were joined.
