Resolve authorizing the Governor to settle the claims of Erastus Foote and John Ruggles was read once and refused a passage in concurrence.

Additional Resolve in favor of Zadoc Bishop and others laid on the table by Mr. Francis was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Town of Burlington - to incorporate the Hancock Agricultural Society - additional relating to the side Booms on Androscoggin River, - altering the time of holding the Court of Common Pleas in the county of Waldo, were read a first and second time and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Resolve for the purchase of stationery, - in favor of Daniel J. Pailey - were severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Messrs. Frost of Standish, Steele of Brownfield, And Cary of Houlton have leave of absence after this day and Mr. Fish of Lincoln after Monday next, during the remainder of the session.
