Bill relative to the powers of Sheriffs and their Deputies, Coroners and Constables was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve making appropriations for certain Military purposes was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill additional for the regulation of Innholders, Retailers and Common Victuallers was read a third time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill additional to an Act granting a Lottery to encourage Steam Navigation in this State and for other purposes was read a first, second and third time and passed to be engrossed - sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill relating to the Thomaston Coal and Mineral Company - relative to the Fishery in Penobscot Bay and River - appropriating the income of certain Ministerial Funds to the support of schools - to repeal an Act to authorize the Court of Sessions in the County of Lincoln to lay out a road across Friendship River and for other purposes, which were severally passed to be enacted - sent up.
