Order from the House instructing the committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of altering the time of holding the meeting of the county Commissioners in the county of Somerset, read and passed, in concurrence.

Bill relating to the duty of assessors was read once and committed to Messrs Keith, Webb, and Bridgham

The petition of Pelatiah Ricker and others, to be incorporated for the better management of Ministerial property, was read and referred to the committee on Parishes, in concurrence.

Bill regulating Judicial process and proceeding came up from the House referred to Messrs Tobin, Steele, and Dyer, with such as the Senate may join, concurred, and Messrs Burnham and Smith are joined.

The select committee, to which was committed Bill to exempt certain property from attachment, reported the same as taken into a new draft, which was adopted, and the same was passed to be engrossed. Mr Thayer gave notice that tomorrow at ten o'clock he should move a reconsideration of the vote passing said Bill to be engrossed.

Bill to incorporate the Exchange Bank came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House, further amend said Bill, and pass the same to be engrossed as thus amended.
