The Senate resumed the consideration of the Bill to incorporate the Orono Bridge, and after some discussion the same was ordered to lie on the table.

Bill to establish the Oxford Canal Corporation came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as thus amended, in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Lubec Mining Company. Bill to incorporate the Lubec Manufacturing Corporation. Bill to incorporate the Franklin Bank. Bill prescribing certain duties of the Land Agent, Bill for preserving the Ticonic Bridge, were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill giving power to the County Commissioners for Cumberland County, to lay out a road over tide waters, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed, as amended, in concurrence.

The Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals reported leave to bring in a Bill on petition of Gould Hathorn and others, read and amended in such manner as to allow the petitioners leave to withdraw and accepted as amended. Sent down for concurrence.
