272 The doors being opened, Mr. Sweat from the committee on State Lands reported leave to withdraw on the petition of Ira Wadleigh and others and that Legislation is inexpedient on the petition of Jacob O. Rogers, and also, on the petition of the Chiefs, Captains, &c of the Penobscot Indians, severally read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

The committee on engrossed Bills, reported as correctly engrossed, An additional Resolve in favour of Francis Joseph, Resolve for completing the Baring and Houlton road and the same were severally finally passed.

The same committee reported as correctly engrossed, Bill additional to an act to alter the time of the meeting of the county Commissioners in Lincoln county, Bill to incorporate the Congin Manufacturing Company, and the same were severally passed to be enacted.
