315 The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Bill relative to the fishery in Penobscot river and Bay, Bill relating to the Thomaston Coal and Mineral Company, Bill relative to the assessment and collection of taxes, Bill to prevent fraud in the inspection of fish, Bill to repeal an act to authorize the Court of Sessions to lay out a road over Friendship river and for other purposes, Bill appropriating the income of certain Ministerial funds to the support of primary schools, and the same were severally passed to be enacted.

On motion of Mr. Megquier Ordered that when the Senate adjourn, it adjourn to meet at seven o'clock this evening. Adjourned.

Evening The Clerk of the House of Representatives came in with a confidential message from the House, and the Senate went into Secret Session.
