Mr Sweat, from the joint select committee to whom was referred the Treasurer's annual report, made a report which was read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolve in favour of Nicholas Peirce & Resolve in favour of Henry Bickford came up from the House recommitted to the committee on military pensions, the Senate recede from their votes passing said Resolves to be engrossed, and concur the House in the recommitment of the same.

A message was received from the House of representatives informing the Senate that Mr Sweat of Prospect had been appointed a member of the committee on Interior Fisheries in place of Mr McKown, who is absent

Ordered that Mr Porter be appointed a member of the joint standing committee to fill the vacancies occasioned by the death of the Hon. Benjamin Pike.

The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a written message of the Governour which was read, and with the accompanying documents, referred to Messrs Megquier and Burnham with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred and messrs Clifford, Hase, and Bicknell were joined.
