Met according to adjournment

On motion of Mr O'Brien of Machias Ordered that Messrs Obrien of Machias Lake of Bucksport and Miller of Waldoborough be a committee with such as the Senate may join to consider the expediency of adopting a rule by which such towns as have not returned their number of Schoolars may be entitled to a fair proportion of the Bank Tax set apart for the use of primary Schools by an Act of the Cast Legislature Read and passed sent up for concurrence

Mr Hammond of Elliot returned and took his seat in this house

Mr Lord of Kennebunk has leave of absence from after Monday next during the remainder of the session

Mr Peirce of Portland was added to the committee who had under consideration the subject of Inspection of Lime and Lime Casks instead of Mr Morril of Westbrook who has leave of absence and the clerk informed the Senate by Message therewith
