On motion of Mr. Clapp of Aurora Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of allowing by Law a Debtor to own one pair of oxen exempt from attachment and execution read and passed sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

On motion of Mr. Hannaford of Cape Elizabeth Ordered that Messrs. Hannaford of C. Elizabeth Currier of Lyman Chadwick of Gardiner Moore of Gouldsborough Robinson of Bethel Cartland of Jefferson Pillsbury of Newport Whitney of Palmyra Thomas of Lincolnville and Nash of Columbia be a Joint Standing Committee on the Division and Alteration of Counties with such as the Senate may join read and passed sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

On motion of Mr. Whipple of Calais Ordered that the Committee on Manufactures be instructed to enquire into the expediency of reviseing [revising] the Law in Trustee process so far that may operate on Foreignors [Foreigners] coming into this State. Also as to the expediency of regulating the sale of Laths in the County of Washington read and passed sent up for concurrance [concurrence]
