Met according to adjournment.

On motion of Mr Huse - Ordered that the Committee on the Militia be instructed to enquire into the expediency of prescribing the manner in which the noncommissioned officers of Companies of Cavalry and Artillery, where such companies are not entitled to Field Officers of their respective Corps, shall receive their Warrants - and report by bill or otherwise - Read and passed sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. True of Montville Ordered that the Committee on Manufactures be instructed to enquire into the expediency of altering the laws regulating the size and quantity of Beef and Fish barrels and Lime casks - with leave to report by bill or otherwise - sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Bartlett of Garland - Ordered that the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges and Canals, be directed to enquire into the expediency of passing a Resolve for the protection of Atkinson and Sebec bridge - Read and passed sent up for concurrence.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, directing the Secretary of State to notify the Governor that Abner B. Thompson of Brunswick, has been elected by the concurrent vote of both branches of the Legislature, Major General of the fourth Division of the Militia of this State - And
