220. relating to the right on Jonathan Cilley to hold a seat in this House, and on motion to postpone the Resolve indefinitely, the question was taken by Yeas and Nays and decided in the negative as follows - Yeas 62. Nays 94. and the Resolve was then ordered to lie on the table (See appendix page )

Petition of Charles Miller and others for pay for building the Canad Road - was read and referred to the Committee on State Roads - sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Inhabitants of School District No. 2. in the Town of Phillips for aid to build a School House - was read and referred to the Committee on Literary Institutions - sent up for concurrence.

Mr. Shaw of Wiscasset, moved a reconsideration of the vote passing to be engrossed the Resolves relating to South Carolina, but the Resolves not being in the possession of the House, he moved that the further consideration of his motion be postponed until tomorrow - which was decided in the negative - no further vote was taken on the subject.

And the House adjourned
