Mr Talbot from the Joint Standing Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, reported leave to withdraw on the petition of the Inhabitants of Steuben. Read accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

Mr Cobb from the Joint Select Committee on Division and alteration of Counties, reported leave to withdraw on the petition of the Inhabitants of St. Albans. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

The Order instructing the Committee to whom was referred so much of the Governors message as relates to the North Eastern Boundary, to enquire into the expediency of repealing a Resolve respecting the territory lying North and East of the River St. Johns and St. Francis, approved March 3d 1832, came up from the House, passage refused and indefinitely postponed, and on motion of Mr Williamson it was laid on the table.

The Reports of the Warden of the State Prison came up from the House referred to the Committee on the State Prison and five hundred copies ordered to be printed, which was read and the reference and order for printing concurred.

The petition of the Inhabitants of the town of Weld for a new County, Remonstrance of Judah Dana and others against an alteration in the territorial limits of the County of Oxford, Remonstrance of the town of Weld against the petition of the town of Farmington for a new County were severally read and referred to the Committee on the Division and alteration of Counties in concurrence.
