Resolve relating to the pay of the Adjutant General. Read once and indefinitely postponed in concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Alvan Bickford a member of the House. Resolve making appropriations for certain military purposes; severally read twice and passed to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.

Resolve for the benefit of Asa Redington Junior, laid on the table by Mr Cobb, was read twice and amended and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

Resolve relating to the compensation of the Register of Probate of the County of Penobscot. Read twice and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Daniel Savage and others. Read twice, amended as on sheets annexed marked A, and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Talbot, the Senate reconsider the vote whereby they passed to be engrossed a Bill to apportion and assess on the Inhabitants of this State, a Tax of Fifty thousand Four hundred ten dollars eighty eight cents. The following amendment was then proposed by Mr Talbot
