A message came from the House informing the Senate that when the House next adjourn it will adjourn without day; and on motion of Mr Cogswell the Senate concur in the above proposition for adjournment, of which the House were informed by message.

Resolve in favor of Benjamin R. Lake. Read once and referred to the next Legislature in concurrence.

Mr Bradbury from the joint Standing Committee on State Roads, to whom was referred so much of the Governors Message as relates to State Roads, also a statement of the several appropriations and expenditures upon State roads, made a Report asking leave to be discharged from further consideration of the subject. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed; Bill additional to an Act granting a Lottery to encourage Steam Navigation in this State, and for other purposes, and the same was passed to be enacted
