across Kenduskeag Stream in the town of Bangor, in the County of Penobscot, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolve providing for the purchase and distribution of Greenleaf's Reports, came up from the House amended and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Resolve to be engrossed, and refer the same in concurrence.

Mr. Emmons from the Committee on the Judiciary to which was referred the "order instructing them to enquire into the expediency of prohibiting the admission of minors to practise law in the Court of Common Pleas and Supreme Judicial Court in this State", made a report, accompanied by a Bill to prohibit minors from the practice of law, which report was read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

The same gentleman from the same Committee, to which was referred the petition of True W. Dore, praying for a divorce from the bonds of matrimony, made a report that the petitioner have leave to withdraw his petition. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Frontier Bank, reported by Mr Cogswell from the Committee on Banks & Banking on the petition of Samuel Wheeler and others, was read once and this day at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Mr. Rogers from the Committee on the Judiciary to which was referred an act entitled "an act providing for the election of County Commissioners", reported that the same ought not to pass. Read and accepted.
