Mr. Cobb announced to the Board that Anson G. Chandler, Senator elect, for the Eighth Senatorial District, was present and ready to be qualified; therefore, ordered, that Mr. Cobb conduct the said Senator elect to the Governor and Council to take and subscribe the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him to enter upon the discharge of his official duties at the Senate Board.
