Petition of Lewis Gordon for pecuniary aid, was read and referred to the Committee on Claims in concurrence.

Petition of Jonathan Fiske and others to be incorporated into a Cotton Manufacturing Company in Kennebunk, was read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures in concurrence.

Remonstrance of sundry inhabitants of Whitefield against the petition of Moses Call and others for leave to build a Bridge across Eastern River, was read & referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, in concurrence.

Remonstrance of Samuel Appleton and others against the petition of Greenlief White and others for a Dam across the Kennebec River at Augusta; read and referred to the Committee that have that subject under consideration in concurrence.
